Having one or both parents absent during Turtle’s upbringing created a very disciplined adult woman with a strong outer shell. But beneath that protective shell is a cauldron of intense emotions and longing desires to connect with the biological parent(s) on a primal level. When females whose childhood was missing one or both parents (especially the father) and when they long to connect with that energy that was absent during their upbringing, the Turtle Mindset is often born.
Typically, adult turtles in the wild abandon their offspring before they hatch, leaving them to mature into adulthood on their own. The Turtle Mindset started out similarly. While not having their biological parent(s) around to love them unconditionally affected them in countless ways, it also made them strong and determined creatures.
Those Turtles who long for fatherly energy the most are vulnerable to strongminded, male hunters (Level 2s, Level 3s & Level 4s) with mastery of the principles and codes of conduct of their earthly environments. As if realizing this, these Turtles have developed extremely hard outer shells protecting their feelings and desires to connect. Removing this shell can be tedious and daunting, even for the most experienced hunter. But those who do will find otherworldly love and dedication waiting inside.
Turtles are very calm and organized and don’t succumb to their emotions easily. This works well for them in their professional lives and careers. Turtles can focus their energy on one goal or many. Either way, they like to stay busy and can get bored easily. Unlike some female Mindsets who need to express their feelings to all who will listen, these Turtles are private with their mental inner-workings. Everyone wants to know what makes Turtle tick, but few find out.
Turtles are relatively conservative Mindsets, especially with how they like to dress and carry themselves. They’re not loose women by any means, but they do like to let their hair down from time to time. The good news is that when they have fun, it rarely goes overboard or involves the abuse of drugs or alcohol. This is likely because the absent parent wasn’t around because they were out in the streets abusing drugs and alcohol. These Turtles usually find this out about their parent(s) at a young age and vow not to go down a similar path.
