Turtle Mindset

(Code Turtle)

COMPARISON TO THEIR SYMBOL

Turtles are typically abandoned by their parents prior to hatching from their eggs, and left to mature into adulthood own their own. Similarly, Turtle Mindsets were abandoned at birth or shortly thereafter by usually one, but in some instances, both parents.

Despite being abandoned prior to birth Turtles are very resilient creatures and have a knack for survival. Similarly, Turtle Mindsets, despite having a rocky start to life, mature to be very productive, goal-orientated and successful women.

The fact that Turtles have hard shells and are extremely slow in movement leads many to assume that they are not sociable creatures when in fact the opposite is true. Likewise, the Turtle Mindset can come across as being shy, unaffectionate or even unapproachable. But if you can break through their shell you will find a very kind, tender and bubbly personality beneath.

THE FIVE HOUSES

The Turtle Mindset is the third Mindset on the Syncurrian chart and the third Mindset to comprise the quadrant of “emotions”. Turtles have very powerful connections to their 1st house of Love and 2nd house of Hope, which are nurturing and surrendering houses. This makes these Mindsets very loving, caring, optimistic and compassionate by nature.

On the other side of the realm is the 5th house of Scorn. Energy resonating from this dark house enforces powerful principles and codes of conduct designed to keep female Mindsets true to their paths in life. Turtles have a faint connection to their 5th house of Scorn, and can only summon significant energy from it when they get upset. Their faint connection to their 5th house of Scorn offers very little protection to their SA moon (4th house), which controls their Sexual Activity, Sexual Awareness and Sexual Allure. However, as will be explained later, their guardian spirit Guidance does offer protection to this sexually charged house.

Their faint connection to their house of Scorn does not emit enough dark energy to help them deal with the demons that inhabit their 3rd house of Fear. The house of fear stores a female Mindset’s darkest life memories and negative self-assessments. Therefore, as is the case with all the Mindsets in the quadrant, Turtles rely heavily on a powerful earthly connection—usually a mate—to help them deal with these demons and restore harmony to the realm. However, as will be explained later, Turtle’s Abandonment demon can make emotional attachment tricky. But because their governing houses are Love and Hope (two acquiescent houses), when these Turtles do become emotionally attached they will surrender key principles and codes of conduct to suit their man. This can be a good thing with a male Mindset that’s not dominant by nature. However, with a dominant male Mindset, not so much.

DEMONS AND GUARDIAN SPIRITS

Turtle’s primary Demon is Abandonment. The Abandonment demon manifests when both biological parents were not around to help raise the Mindset. Turtle’s other primary demon is Father Figure. Father Figure is another type of Abandonment demon and manifests . . .
