But Scarab would rather have less and remain true to her principles than have more and have to deal with people who constantly violate them.

Scarabs have very few friends. Even their relationships with their parents and relatives can be strained. No one is above being disowned by Scarab for violating a principle or code of conduct, and many loved ones have disowned Scarab for staying true to hers. Like the Egyptian Scarab beetle, Scarab work better alone and will do so even if there are people available to help. Scarab’s principles and ancestors are her helpers.

Scarabs are very loving and dedicated to their mate and will have their mate’s back when times are tough. But they demand a lot in return. He must be strongminded, courageous and he must abide by similar dark and indifferent principles and codes of conduct. These are the keys to penetrating Scarab’s resilient shell and gaining her utmost love and respect. But the deeper the love grows, the more Scarab can scrutinize her man’s actions to protect her heart. This can have a weak-minded man walking on eggshells.

Of all the female Mindsets, Scarab has the greatest appreciation for a man who likes to take risks and challenge authority. Scarab’s strong mind, rough upbringing and knack for survival make her the perfect fit for a man who is of the streets. In antiquity, Scarab would have ruled her village right beside her warrior husband. The two of them would have handed down the harshest punishments for those who violated village laws.
