Turtle and Level 2: Compatibility and Challenges
Turtle and a Level 2 are a very solid couple. They both embrace their roles in a relationship and their personalities are about as harmonious as it gets. They also express love similarly. The only pitfall they may face is if Turtle is dealing with a Level 2 that is still trying to find himself out in the world or streets, which can still be the case even if he has a stable career. Such a Level 2 is prone to become torn between his friendships with his more dominant buddies and his relationship with Turtle. This tug of war can eventually force Turtle to make some tough decisions about their relationship.
Turtle
Turtle has very powerful connections to her houses of Love and Hope, which are her governing houses. These sister houses are responsible for the female Mindset’s most cherished loves, hopes, dreams, faith, prayers and inspiration. This powerful connection to these emotionally laced houses means love and hope energy are powerful instruments in Turtle’s life. If a man is going to share a journey with her, he must embrace love and hope as powerfully as she does.
Despite all of this powerful love and hope energy resonating through Turtle, she can struggle with expressing her feelings, especially when a relationship is new. But once she feels comfortable with loving, no female Mindset has more love to give. Feeling loved by her man is like therapy for Turtle. And when she completely surrenders to love, she tends to love hard and blindly and is very vulnerable in this state. Turtle needs a man who can be patient with her during her process of surrender and not take advantage of her when she does let go and love.
The dark and foreboding 5th house of Scorn connects female Mindsets with a good or better connection to it to an assortment of dark energies designed to protect, guide and warn them when negative forces get too close. But for Turtle, these energies are but a faint voice that are often drowned out by powerful emotional energy resonating form her governing houses of Love and Hope. In order for Turtle to tap into more of this monstrous dark energy, beyond what her guardian spirit Guidance can draw for her, Turtle must become angry. However, when Turtle gets angry, she’s unable to utilize the energy the way the universe intended. To utilize this protective energy in the intended way, Turtle must relax, dial inward, listen and obey. But for Turtle, this also requires piercing through a cauldron of intense, subconscious emotions swirling inside of her, which can be difficult to do.
Level 2
A Level 2 can come across as tough or suave but deep down inside he’s very patient, caring and loving (despite what he may be telling his friends). Credit his partial connection to the first primal realm of Fear, which limits his connection to the darker cosmic realms and allows him to connect with his earthly feelings and emotions. Once you peel back the layers even further, a surprising intellect and compassionate man is waiting to be found. Nothing can be better to a Level 2 than spending quality time with his woman and children.
Many Level 2s are only content with this docile state of existence for modest periods of time. For them, only a deeper connection to the second primal realm of Conquest through acts of courage out in the world or streets will provide them with the manly fix they need. This quest often causes them to form alliances with more dominant male Mindsets who act as their guides. But relying on others to show you the way can be a slippery slope. The mental strength it takes to keep up with one’s stronger-minded buddies while maintaining a family life can be difficult for many Level 2s to maintain. As a result, some Level 2s can go through periods where they’re difficult to find, both in the physical sense and mentally. They can also be very impressionable and use poor judgement when dealing with their stronger-minded buddies. Patience is key when in a relationship with a Level 2. However, being too patient with him can make matters worse.
Turtle and Level 2
With Turtle and a Level 2, you get a refreshing mixture of style and humility. A Level 2s partial connection to the second primal realm of Conquest powers him with more than enough raw, primal manliness to make Turtle feel safe and wanted. He also has just enough cosmic intuition to offer valuable insight on whatever issues his Turtle may be dealing with. A Level 2 will see Turtle as the breath of fresh air he needs in his life. Her honesty, discipline and sexiness will be the beacon of light that he needs in the storm preventing him from completely caving into the streets or his friends.
Their first conversations will be sensual and intense. A Level 2s conversation will peel back just enough protective outer shell to allow Turtle to be open and free about her past and hopes for the future. Turtle may be skeptical at first. But ultimately, she will be too drawn to his manliness and charm to resist him. His measured manliness will quail Turtle’s Abandonment demons, allowing powerful love and hope energy to draw all that’s good about him into a sacred place inside her. At this point, Turtle can see the same beacon of light in him that he sees in her.
A potential concern is whether a Level 2 can successfully balance his relationship with Turtle and with his dominant friends. A Level 2 has just enough of a connection to the second primal realm of Conquest to discern basic energies in females, such as their degree of mental strength. If he determines that Turtle is weak-minded, he may see that as a green light to spend more time out with his buddies. But Level 2s are notorious for guessing wrong about their woman, so he may refer to his stronger-minded buddies who discern such energies in women more accurately. These buddies will observe the way Turtle dotes when she’s with her Level 2 and conclude that she’s emotionally driven, which in their eyes does in fact make her weak-minded. They will also explain to their Level 2 buddy how to approach his Turtle so that he may enjoy the same freedoms that they enjoy with their women.
By this time, Turtle’s Level 2 will have her on cloud nine preventing her from noticing the grip that the streets have on him. If Turtle doesn’t stay alert and draw dark energy from her 5th house of Scorn to get angry enough to put her foot down, her Level 2 will likely get comfortable and begin spending even more time out in the streets. Because a Level 2s connection to the second primal realm of Conquest is only partial, he doesn’t see all the pitfalls the streets have to offer the way his more dominant buddies can. It will only be a matter of time before he winds up falling into one (or getting thrown in one by a buddy out to save their own neck). Either scenario will spell disaster for the relationship. But if a Level 2 has his priorities in order and his friends in check, he and Turtle will remain on cloud nine for many, many years.
Turtle and a Level 2 are both family-orientated and embrace the concepts of marriage, fatherhood and children. However, because of Turtle’s Abandonment demon, she may be a little apprehensive about having children of her own, at least in the beginning. But a Level 2 is the perfect Mindset to help her get past these fears.
