Rove and Level 2: Compatibility and Challenges
A relationship between Rove and a Level 2 is steeped in tradition, but minus the boredom that can be associated with a traditional relationship. A Level 2s partial connection to the first primal realm of Fear allows him to embrace earthly emotions and spiritual beliefs that are necessary for a traditional relationship. Yet his partial connection to the second primal realm of Conquest also provides him with more than enough raw, primal manliness to keep the relationship vibrant and not so predictable. This can be a perfect climate for Rove, especially if she’s enjoyed letting her hair down with dominant male Mindsets in prior relationships. However, a Level 2 can struggle with being a devout servant of his faith and may choose good times over the good book more often than Rove would like. It may become Rove’s sole responsibility to keep the thrills and spills from going overboard.
Rove
Same as the other female Mindsets in the quadrant of “emotions”, Rove’s governing houses are Love and Hope. In fact, no female Mindset has a more powerful connection to her house of Hope than Rove. The house of Hope is where a female’s faith, dreams, prayers and ideas all coexist, working harmoniously to inspire her. A male Mindset who can contribute to the inspirational energy that this house provides will reap significant benefits from the female Mindset. In Rove’s case, there’s very little that she won’t do for a significant other who can inspire her.
Rove’s connection to her all-knowing 5th house of Scorn is faint, which means she has little help from the universe on her journey here on earth. But her guardian spirit Faith does keep her true to key spiritual (or scriptural) principles and codes of conduct that prevent her from getting too wrapped up in the secular world. If Rove meditates and listens, she can tap into more of this dark wisdom. Those who do combine energy from their faith with intuitive energies resonating from their house of Scorn can boost their spiritual abilities tenfold. But going down this path typically requires a faith that allows it.
Having a relationship that’s too steeped in tradition, as appealing as it may sound, may be unrealistic for some Roves. This is especially true if they’ve danced with the devil in prior relationships. What seems to work best for many Roves is a man who can offer the best of both worlds; a loving, faith-based relationship with transparency and financial stability, along with some edgy bedroom fun and the occasional weekend getaway or night out on the town. Of course, these are just examples. But the point is Rove thrives when her relationship has a mixture of tradition and adventure.
Level 2
In many ways, a Level 2 is the perfect balance of raw manliness, adventure seeker and traditionalist. His partial connection to the second primal realm of Conquest powers him with more than enough primal manliness for his woman to feel safe, protected and wanted sexually. His partial connection to the first primal realm of Fear is what allows him to embrace traditional, earthly values and his feelings.
Because a Level 2 only has a partial connection to the second primal realm of Conquest, he likes to challenge himself to feel an even deeper connection to the realm. How he chooses to do that depends a lot on personality, upbringing and other influences. But it can include hunting, hiking, fishing, racing, the gym, extreme sports or even amusement parks. Whatever the method, a Level 2 enjoys involving his woman and children into these activities whenever possible.
The only potential hazard for a Level 2 is when his desire to gain a deeper connection to the second primal realm of Conquest becomes an obsession. For such a Level 2, there’s nothing like the jolt of pure, Godlike energy they receive from acts of courage that go beyond hunting, fishing or the gym. For many Level 2s, not even their belief in a higher power can prevent this obsession from luring them down some unsavory paths out in the world or streets, jeopardizing their relationships. Those female Mindsets who are in a relationship with such a Level 2 who rely exclusively on hope and prayers to fix the problem will likely see the problem get worse. A Level 2 needs a strong woman who can stay in-tuned with reality and find the right words to make him choose her over his friends and the streets.
Rove and Level 2
As spiritual as Rove is, it’s not the only quality that defines her. She’s also very loving, selfless, supportive and a good listener. This is why she has so many friends and acquaintances, vying for her attention and spiritual direction. When these qualities are applied to her relationships, the results are a successful and diplomatic union where both parties can express their opinions and desires without judgement. This is a perfect climate for a Level 2 who doesn’t like to assume what’s on his woman’s mind or vice versa. A Level 2 can be cocky, confident and adventurous, but beneath this manly persona exists a very loving and caring being with great spiritual potential. He simply needs a woman like Rove to remind him of that from time to time.
Balance is key if Rove and a Level 2 are to enjoy a stress-free relationship for any significant amount of time. Rove will certainly want to avoid playing the role of mother to her Level 2. But, if she’s not careful, it can happen. Some Level 2s—even some who have good careers—can appear to be more interested in proving their manliness to their more dominant buddies out in the streets than being a devoted father and husband. And because Rove is so prone to believe in her man’s ability to press pause before things get too out of hand, should she be wrong about her Level 2, things can get out of hand fairly quickly.
Rove may get lucky and land a Level 2 who’s disciplined enough to choose activities that can challenge his desire to feel manlier that include her. But if she’s not careful, she can find herself fellowshipping and studying scripture far less than was the case when she was single. To avoid sliding down the secular rabbit hope alongside her Level 2, communication and restraint must be at the forefront of their relationship. As long as Rove and a Level 2 can balance the good times with the glory times, they can enjoy a well-balanced, faith-based relationship that includes plenty of fun and excitement until the end of days.
Rove and a Level 2 both embrace the concepts of family, parenthood and marriage wholeheartedly. In fact, very few Mindset matches pair better in these categories than these two. As long as a Level 2 can limit his time out in the streets, him and Rove do amazing in this area of a relationship.
