Firefly and Level 2: Compatibility and Challenges
A responsible Level 2 is a good bet for Firefly, whether she’s looking to settle down and start a family or hustle her way to the top. Among male Mindsets, a Level 2 is least likely to become rich and famous. But he can master a skill or talent and wind up becoming very successful in professional sports, music or entertainment. Whether he strikes it rich or not, he still ranks high on qualities necessary to be a sound father and husband. His partial connection to the second primal realm of Conquest fuels a cocky and adventurous spirit that catches Firefly’s eye. He also resonates enough raw, primal manliness and street awareness to impress whichever Firefly catches his eye. But again, his issue is being responsible.
Firefly
Firefly can surrender to love, but her goals are her primary motivation. Credit her good connection to her 5th house of Scorn which keeps her true to her goals (and agendas) despite any desires for a genuine, emotional connection. Those Fireflies looking to settle down with one good man and perhaps start a family are just as masterful at selecting the right man for their needs as those who are looking to have their bills and rent paid and receive expensive gifts.
Same as female Mindsets who comprise the quadrant of “energy”, Firefly doesn’t need for her guardian spirit (Acceptance) to draw additional dark energy from her 5th house of Scorn to provide additional protection in certain situations. Same as them, Firefly’s strong mind allows her to draw plenty on her own. What she does rely on however, is intuitive ancestral energy that guides and warns her when the wrong people attempt to thumb a ride on her journey. She may not realize that this insight and intuition is coming from her ancestors, but it is.
Firefly recognizes her beauty, intelligence and confidence and embraces everything about herself. Her strong mind and good connection to her 5th house of Scorn allowed her to recognize many qualities that could gain her entry into what she concluded was a better world. For many Fireflies, the goal was to infiltrate this glitzy world and enjoy all that it had to offer at the expense of those who tried to shut her out of it. However, many other Fireflies simply wanted to find the right man that was symbolic of this world to settle down with and start a family. Regardless of Firefly’s motivations, what they all have in common is their masterful ability to make their dreams come true.
Level 2
The second primal realm of Conquest is teeming with communications between celestial bodies to be intercepted and translated here on earth by those male Mindsets with a connection to the realm. A Level 2s partial connection to the realm of Conquest allows him to intercept large chunks of these powerful and intoxicatingly dark principles and codes of conduct, enough to keep pace with others connected to the realm. But that’s like saying someone saw large chunks of a movie that was powerful and intoxicating. Yet, many of their friends saw the entire movie. If this movie defined you as a man and if mastering all of its content ranked you higher amongst your friends and if all of this is important to you, then you would want to see the entire movie.
The quest to see the entire movie is what motivates a Level 2, not just bits and pieces. The stark reality is that it’s impossible to acquire a greater connection to these darker, cosmic realms than what a man was born to have. But a Level 2s subconscious believes that by letting him try, he will at least enjoy the additional bursts of manliness that’s associated with these attempts while bonding with his more dominant buddies, which is what this quest is really about.
Many Level 2s successfully find ways to feel a deeper connection to the realm that doesn’t interfere with other important manly duties, such as their careers or being a father or husband. They play sports, work out, hunt, hike or do other activities to free themselves from the realm of Fear and feel the rush of Conquest. But there are those Level 2s who struggle to balance all of these important facets of their lives. Worse yet, are those Level 2s who choose to put everything on the back burner so that they may see the entire movie.
Firefly and Level 2
A Level 2s manliness and swagger certainly catches Firefly’s eye. He’s charmed by Firefly, so much so that he pokes his chest out a bit farther to resonate more manliness in her presence. A Level 2 senses something different about Firefly, even though he can’t quite put his finger on what it is. As their conversations continue, a mutual understanding quickly develops, especially as they share superficial principles and codes of conduct. Firefly listens to a Level 2, smiles and is polite but doesn’t offer sacred perspective, at least not initially. But all the while she’s interpreting his thought process, determining the strength of his mind and envisioning including him in her sacred world.
Firefly and a Level 2 bonding mentally doesn’t necessarily mean they will become a romantic match. This is because it takes more to win her over. Firefly is very particular, especially as it relates to someone capturing her heart. Her strong mind and intelligence naturally place her in a leadership role in her relationships, especially with men of moderate mental strength. She needs a man who can handle her strength but who isn’t controlling. He must also be responsible and financially stable.
A Level 2 is the perfect combination of raw primal strength (but not controlling) and tenderness. Where he can struggle is in the areas of career and balancing his home life with his life out in the world or streets. An irresponsible Level 2 doesn’t work for Firefly, regardless of the mental connection. But, if he has all the qualities that Firefly’s looking for and is also responsible, these two can very well enjoy a happy and healthy relationship until the end of days.
Those Fireflies looking to settle down and start a family and a Level 2 both embrace the concepts of parenthood, children, family and marriage deeply. As long as the Level 2 is financially stable and responsible, these two do very well in these key areas of a relationship.
