A Woman Scorned

You win back to back NBA titles; have fame, fortune, looks, tons of cash, and a hot new girlfriend. Life should be good right? Well, if you’re Dwayne Wade of the Miami Heat, that may not be the case. Wade’s ex-wife and baby’s momma was recently seen posted up on a public sidewalk in downtown Chicago (D-Wade’s hometown by the way) clutching a sign claiming to be homeless.

According to published reports, Wade’s ex-wife, Siohvaughn Funches, was recently spotted squatting outside of the famous Daily Center in Chicago, somber and disheveled, as a homemade sign described her as being, “on the streets.” According to Siohvaughn, D-Wade is not paying her money he owes her (reportedly $25,000 a month in spousal support and an additional $10,000 a month in travel and living expenses). Other sources, however, are saying that these allegations are false.

Meanwhile, Miami Heat guard, Dwyane Wade, is seeing a lot of red in his eyes nowadays and it’s not from all of the champagne sprayed in his eyes after winning another NBA title. His eyes are bloodshot because his ex-wife and mother of his two boys refuse to go away. Wade initially filed for divorce back in 2007. Years later, the lengthy and acrimonious court battle that ensued has no clear signs of finding closure, even as Wade promises to pay his ex off if she would just shut up and go away. LeBron, I think you need to give your boy a hug.

Public reaction to Siohvaughn Funches’ behavior is mixed as some are saying, “you go girl”, while others urge D-Wade’s ex-wife to get a job. But regardless to which view you side with, one thing is for certain: Siohvaughn Funches is hunkered down in the Winter season of her Relationship Cycle, feeding off of negative energy being generated by her House of Scorn. And it appears that she is content to stay there indefinitely.

Typically, this happens when a woman has surrendered to love completely, endured emotional distress, forgave and was dumped anyway. Published reports on why the couple divorced in the first place vary. Some contend that D-Wade simply needed a  break from the marriage, while other reports—those coming from the Funches’ camp—charge sex, lies, infidelity, STD’s and the kitchen sink. Only Funches and Wade know the facts from the fiction, but it’s obvious that in funches’ mind anyway, she has been wronged big time. Otherwise, she could have gotten paid and disappeared years ago. What we have here folks is a woman scorned.

Sometimes you just have to let go ladies. And after reportedly receiving $5 million in a settlement, along with the NBA star’s mansion in South Holland and four luxury cars, maybe Siohvaughn will finally do just that. Therelationshipshaman doubts it but will keep you posted.
