Scarab and Level 2: Compatibility and Challenges
A Level 2 certainly resonates enough raw, primal manliness and swagger to grab Scarab’s attention. This is due to his partial connection to the second primal realm of Conquest. This same partial connection also provides him with enough of an understanding of the intricate network of dark and indifferent principles and codes of conduct that Scarab has mastered to garner genuine interest from her. If he’s adopted phrases and mannerisms from his more dominant buddies, it will certainly add to Scarab’s view of him. However, it won’t be long before a comment or response to a situation convinces Scarab that a Level 2s understanding of cosmic principles and codes of conduct as applied to their environment is only partial. If he possesses other qualities that she likes, she might date him anyway. However, these additional qualities might not save his manliness from being tested by Scarab as punishment for attempting to deceive her.
Scarab
On the one hand, Scarab’s extremely close connection to her 5th house of Scorn anoints her with a treasure trove of dark, cosmic energy. Her mastery of these energies explain why no female Mindset is better at surviving all the chaos that life has to offer. On the other hand, the fact that Scarab is unable to control all of this concentrated, 5th house energy does allow a small percentage to control her. This small percentage that she can’t control can cause her to lose her cool quicker than most, especially when people violate her principles or disrespect her. The good news is, as Scarab gets older, she usually becomes more able to manage this rogue ten percent once inner peace and ancestral energy gains more influence over her.
As is the case with the other female Mindsets in the quadrant of “energy”, Scarab’s primal calling is to keep the bar high for male Mindsets. One of the ways this is accomplished is by insisting that they master the entire network of dark and indifferent, cosmic principles and codes of conduct as they play out in their environments here on earth. Only then will something deep inside these women trigger a desire to mate. Of course, more must happen to get to that point but deciding who gets to mate and who doesn’t is one of many crucial functions placed on Scarab’s original path. In this day and age, a lot has gone wrong making it difficult for most male Mindsets to live up to these rather strict standards. Scarab will argue that she’s not asking for a lot and that the reward for mastering these dark laws and not violating her trust is all the pleasure they desire.
Level 2
A Level 2 is one of the more well-rounded male Mindsets. This is because of his partial connections to the first primal realm of Fear and the second primal realm of Conquest. These two opposing realms combine to create a male Mindset who is loving, affectionate and a sound family man. At the same time, he can be cocky, adventurous and eager to prove himself. Many Level 2s can manage these unstable energies bubbling inside of them so that their qualities stand out and their shortcomings for the most part hide in remission. When these Level 2s also have stable careers, they can be ideal significant others. But there are also those Level 2s who crave nothing more than a greater connection to the second primal realm of Conquest. Those who satisfy this urge responsibly, such as through sports or the outdoors, can still enjoy a productive existence. But many who choose the streets as their outlet often create grief for themselves and those who love them.
What a level 2 doesn’t pick up naturally from the universe, he will attempt to learn from his more dominant buddies who enjoy a pure connection to these darker, cosmic realms. This is especially true for those Level 2s who choose the streets as their outlet. Eventually, mimicking the phrases and behaviors of their more dominant street buddies becomes second nature. For a Level 2, this may seem like a harmless tactic to further project that he is as manly as they are, but what he fails to realize is that there are strongminded beings out there who can tell if his behavior is resonating from within or plagiarism. Another thing that a Level 2 fails to realize is that within that dark element who can tell the difference, there is the opinion that those who fake it to make it are fair game to pay a price for pretending. While his buddies may give him a pass, others may not be so kind.
Scarab and Level 2
At first glance, Scarab and a Level 2 appear right for each other. Scarab’s serious facial expressions and powerful presence coupled with a Level 2s cockiness and swagger will convince people watchers that they obviously grew up on the same rough side of the tracks. The initial feeling out period of their relationship will be hot and heavy as these two will barely be able to stay out of the bedroom. Much credit goes to a Level 2s need to prove his manliness to his woman by way of his sexual talents. A Level 2’s partial connection to the first primal realm of Fear also allows him to embrace emotional concepts such as love somewhat easily. So, he will be able to give Scarab all the good sex and love energy she craves.
A Level 2s combination of manliness, swagger and good sex should make him a great candidate to fulfill Scarab’s dream of settling down with one “real” man. Unfortunately, her zero tolerance for the slightest violation of a principle or code of conduct can prevent that dream life from ever happening between these two. Again, at first glance, it can appear that a Level 2 has mastery of universal principles and codes of conduct as they play out in his environment. But when he’s up in the face of a highly observant person such as Scarab who has mastered them, it becomes quite obvious that he hasn’t mastered them at all. Scarab doesn’t handle disappointment very well, especially when it comes to mastery of these sacred, cosmic rules. Her Level 2 being a dud in that area can be all it takes to rule him out as her forever love.
A Level 2 who likes proving his manhood out in the streets can become Scarab’s puppet if he’s not careful. One way this is accomplished is by directing his rage towards random people who pissed her off for the slightest violation of a principles or code of conduct. A more dominant male Mindset would make Scarab explain the exact nature of her gripe with whatever strangers found their way in her crosshairs to make sure going off on them is warranted before actually doing so. But because a Level 2s connection to the second primal realm of Conquest is only partial, he’s not powered with enough raw, primal energy to discern whether Scarab’s claims are valid or manufactured. Although this dark realm does power him with a distinct backbone, not so much when it comes to questioning his woman’s opinion that she’s been disrespected. Rather than feel stupid for not seeing what his woman can see, he’s going to trust his Scarab and act. As a result, people who see Scarab and a Level 2 approaching will have to pray to the heavens above that they don’t wind up in Scarab’s crosshairs and have to deal with her Level 2 puppet boyfriend.
If a Level 2 gets a Scarab who has been there done that on pushing her man’s buttons to get a rise out of him, they can enjoy a sound relationship for a number of years. But a Level 2 will struggle greatly to keep up with the demands of a Scarab who enjoys putting his manliness to the test. If he doesn’t wind up going to jail first, intervention from family and friends will eventually pull him away from her. Even though these two are destined to break up, a Level 2s apparent need to have others point his manliness in the direction of their choosing can bring them back together months or even years down the road.
Both these Mindsets embrace the concept of family, children and marriage but can also enjoy a relationship without being married. Overall, these two can find harmony in this area of a relationship. However, maintaining it may prove difficult.
